Challenge:

After completing two previous remodeling projects for our clients, tragedy struck—a devastating fire forced them from their home. Their new purchase required a full-scale remodel, prioritizing fire prevention while embracing their love for bold, expressive design. The original structure, a wood-framed relic of the 1980s, needed a complete transformation.

Solution:

Spanning 6,000 square feet, this top-to-bottom reimagining included an elevator, a covered bridge linking the media room and office to the main house, a striking three-story steel staircase, an outdoor kitchen, and lush landscaping. Fire-resistant elements—such as a metal roof, stucco, Vulcan vents, and meticulously sealed gaps—were integral to the design. Our clients brought their vibrant Texas spirit and art collection; we provided custom furnishings to create a home as dazzling as it is resilient.
