Brian Dodd is the Vice President of JS Design + Build, where he helps lead both sales and production. Equal parts strategist and builder, he thrives on turning big ideas into finished projects and keeping teams moving toward the goal.
Known for his calm under pressure and bias for action, Brian enjoys simplifying complexity, building strong relationships, and finding practical solutions that keep projects on track. When he’s not at work, he’s spending time with his family, playing guitar, or firing up the barbecue.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, tending my garden, and painting—creative pursuits that reflect my appreciation for beauty, craftsmanship, and the distinctive Napa Valley lifestyle.

Estimator by trade and basketball player by misguided ambition. I enjoy spending time with the people I care about, embracing whatever spontaneous plans we come up with. While my work demands a calculated approach, I prefer to live my life spontaneously!

Movies, video games, and puzzles? Basically, I’m training my brain to be both sharp and entertained. Whether I’m solving a puzzle, binge-watching a movie, or slaying work projects, I do it all with creativity, sass, and a bit of strategic flair.

When I'm not designing, I'm usually embracing my busy life as a mom and enjoying everything that makes wine country such a special place to call home. I'm equally happy gathering with friends and family, hunting for antiques, or unwinding with a delightfully obnoxious reality show after a long day.
I believe great design is timeless, authentic, and rooted in both the people who live there and the architecture that surrounds them.
SEAN ROCKWOOD
Project Manager
Sean is a natural problem solver who appreciates good organization, clear communication, and keeping things moving. As a former Marine, he brings a steady, practical mindset to the team, along with a good sense of humor and a well timed dad joke. Outside of work, Sean enjoys spending time with his family, heading to the beach, exploring local hiking trails, and cheering on the San Francisco Giants.
