Challenge:

Our previous clients were transitioning from their remodeled weekend condominium to a spacious, full-time residence on the marina in Napa. Their new home, built in the 1990s within a gated community, featured a heavily faux-finished Mediterranean style. While it had great potential, it needed a thoughtful reconfiguration and remodel to better suit their lifestyle and vision for their forever home. To maximize the waterfront setting, we opened the entertaining spaces to the river views with oversized patio doors, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection. A large, underutilized office was transformed into a versatile back kitchen and laundry room, complete with wine storage—an ideal solution for both function and convenience.

Solution:

The expanded kitchen now flows effortlessly into the dining area, complemented by a sophisticated entertaining bar. In the living space, a newly designed fireplace and custom display cabinets create a striking focal point. We reimagined the dated powder and guest bathrooms into serene retreats, while the primary suite received a complete update, including additional closet space and a more functional, light-filled bathroom. Every detail was carefully considered to elevate this home into a refined yet comfortable sanctuary, perfectly tailored to our clients’ needs.
